The name 'ETEA' means a distinctive spirit of culture based on knowledge and science.
As a result, the organization’s activity is focused on strengthening Kosovo pre-university education, focusing on the development of educational practices, promotion of cultural heritage of education, development of reading skills and integration of social entrepreneurship in schools. Infrastructure interventions, arts, scientific research and training are the key components that characterize the work methodology of the ETEA organization.
Partners and Supporters
ETEA’s activities have been developed in partnership and supported by GIZ Kosovo, Swiss Cooperation Office in Kosovo (SDC), Kosovo Civil Society Foundation (KCSF), Danish Refugee Council (DRC), U.S Embassy in Kosovo, Manifesta Biennial, Ministry of Education, Kosovo Foundation for Open Society (KFOS), Ministry of Culture and Youth, Pristina Municipality, Heras+, Embassy of Bulgaria in Kosovo, Goethe-Institut, etc.
Our Main Goals
Reading Culture
Encouraging the desire for reading and promoting a dynamic reading culture among children/youth in Kosovo.
Quality in Education
Improving the quality of education through the promotion of innovative teaching methods and teacher training programs.
Digital Education
Empowering teachers with necessary training and support for the integration of technologies in classrooms and teaching methods
Child Welfare
Ensure inclusiveness in education and prioritize the well-being of children by advocating for equal opportunities and supportive environments for all learners in Republic of Kosovo.
Our Projects
The Circulating Library
A project that is implemented in several schools in Kosovo and aims to facilitate access to literature for children and teachers.
P4C
Philosophy for Children P4C, applied in Kosovo by ETEA since 2020. The project mainly aims to encourage critical thinking in children.
P2P Mentoring Program
This is a program that aims to increase awareness and promote higher education among high school students from minorities.
Proactive
It is a project that enables the beneficiary students to undertake advocacy initiatives for change to their school environment.
Kidpreneurship
Has initiated the social entrepreneurship component in educational institutions, aiming to train children in the use of technologies
LIBART Center
Multifunctional center with the aim of promoting and cultivating the culture of reading through organizing events dedicated to art, literature and philosophy
